The NIBCO PCR-1M is a purpose-built 5/8″ OD mini pressing jaw for the NIBCO PressACR® copper press system. It is intended for use with the NIBCO PCR-20M press tool, making it the correct jaw when you need to press 5/8″ OD ACR copper lines for HVAC/R installations.
This jaw is installed into the pressing tool and forms the crimp during the press cycle; to achieve a proper connection, the jaw must close completely to help ensure a leak-free connection. Press tools and jaws are part of the PressACR system approach to produce a consistent, permanent joint when used with compatible PressACR fittings and the proper procedure.
Because it’s a mini jaw, it’s ideal for tight mechanical spaces and retrofit jobs where clearance is limited but you still need to work with a larger common refrigerant line size like 5/8″ OD.
