The RectorSeal Safe-T-Switch SS2 is a condensate overflow switch designed to detect clogged A/C condensate drains and shut off the system to prevent water damage. It can be installed on the auxiliary outlet of the primary drain pan using the included 3/4″ adapter. The switch features an adjustable ratcheting float level, allowing for easy sensitivity adjustments without removing the cap. The magnetic reed switch ensures reliable operation, and the device can be installed on a slope of up to 45° without the need to be leveled. The cap is easily removed for cleaning and servicing condensate drain lines. The SS2 is compatible with 24V systems and has a maximum 1.25 Amp carrying capacity. It includes 6 ft. of 18 AWG lead wires and is UL 508 compliant. The switch is constructed with Schedule 40 PVC components for durability.
