The CADS-1(W) is a 1-gallon, white, fiber-reinforced, water-based duct sealant suitable for indoor and outdoor HVAC applications. It offers excellent mold and mildew resistance, is UL 181A-M/B-M rated, and provides a coverage rate of 70–80 sq. ft. per gallon.

The CADS-1(W) is a white, fiber-reinforced, water-based duct sealant designed for sealing all types of HVAC duct systems, including metal, fiberglass ductboard, and flexible duct. This UL 181A-M and UL 181B-M rated sealant offers excellent mold and mildew resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
With a solids content of 67% ±0.3% by weight, the CADS-1(W) provides a coverage rate of 70–80 sq. ft. per gallon at a wet film thickness of 20–25 mils. It is LEED compliant and meets various industry standards, including ASTM E-84, SCAQMD Rule 1168, SMACNA, NFPA 90A/90B and 225, and UL 723.
The sealant has a setting time of 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature, humidity, and application thickness. It is rated for high-velocity HVAC systems with a maximum pressure rating of 10 inches water column. The service temperature range is -40°F to 200°F, and the storage temperature range is 35°F to 115°F.
